Violet 3D

More of a violet than purple. A lighter shade

This is a really dark purple. Tends more to the blue shade

Purple Dye - Violet DS

This is a Nice violet (Purple) Most common in the bicycle world.

​Easy color to use.

 pH: 6 ±0.5 - Buffering is not required.

Deep Red Dye

A cherry red. This anodizing dye likes a lower ph

Concentration: 4 g/l  

 pH: 5.5 ±0.5 - Buffering is not required.

Hot Pink Anodizing Dye

This is a really deep pink. The derailleur to the left is this pink

Fast color and if light pink is wanted a quick dip is needed.

I have found this dye likes to be hot. color uptake should be very rapid.

 pH: 6 ±0.5 - Buffering is not required.

Temperature: 150°F ±5°F. - Dip 20+ minutes.

Concentration: 4 g/l  

 pH: 5 ±0.5 - Buffering is not required.

Temperature: 140°F ±5°F. - Dip 20+ minutes.

Red Bordeaux 

This is a bit deeper red and has a wine color. Hence the name.

We use this dye daily because it makes the red more vivid and richer

​We also tend to get better dye saturation if the ph is lower on this dye.

Red and Purple Aluminum Anodizing Dyes

 We use high quality anodizing dyes from the U.S. Specialty Color Corporation. 

All dyes are in powder form for easier shipment and will require proper mixing prior to use.
